Introducing the IRIS-S460, the low-light, static, marine IP camera from Iris Innovations. A compact and stylish high definition network camera designed to fulfil your on board monitoring and surveillance requirements.

The camera’s sensor operates in near darkness to provide up to 3MP high definition video, with a built-in infra-red cut filter enhancing colour representation in poor light and infra-red LED illuminators which switch on automatically at night providing near field visibility in total darkness.

The S460’s 316 stainless steel housing provides the ultimate protection in the harsh marine environment. It is the perfect solution for deck monitoring aboard yachts, work boats, fishing vessels and passenger vessels whilst its sophisticated aesthetic harmonises with any luxury vessel.

Measuring just 58mm high by 60mm in diameter, the S460 is small and rugged enough to provide unobtrusive surveillance of your vessel, on board observation of key unoccupied zones such as engine rooms or anchor wells and visibility for docking manoeuvres.

Compatibility

The S460 camera uses IP (internet protocol) data and networking - like a computer - and is directly compatible with multi function displays from the following manufacturers:

• Simrad
• B&G
• Lowrance
• Furuno

Garmin 8000 and 9000 series multi function displays use an HDMI interface – like a TV – which requires an IP to HDMI converter to be compatible with the S460. These are available elsewhere and we will be shortly be releasing a marine-ready, low cost converter ourselves.
