Introducing the ground-breaking new Photon Ultra Hi-Def / Ultra Low Light Night Vision Camera from Iris with a 12mm lens options for long range applications. Photon uses state of the art video processing technology combined with AI analytics to enhance its ultra high definition 4K (3840 x 2160) output, producing full colour, realtime (25Hz) video in virtually pitch black conditions.

Even in moonless skies, with just the faintest starlight, Photon’s cutting edge processor analyses each of its 8.3 million pixels, dynamically boosting and enhancing the output stream. In addition to the camera’s dynamic video processing, an integrated soft white LED illuminator is included to enhance visibility at short range.

Photon is not a thermal Imaging camera and so it doesn't struggle in low thermal contrast scenarios with poor image rendering. Its staggering ultra high definition output provides colour and depth straight to your chart-plotter. The leading 4K images are currently supported by Garmins’ superb 9000 series range. If your display can’t offer UHD, Photon has the newest, latest technology and can be configured to output video as required. The Photon is powered via IEEE802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) and installation couldn’t be simpler with a single CAT5 cable.
