So your overall comfort is pretty assured if even a cold wind is not reaching your body, the rain is rolling off the surface of the fabric thanks to the durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, the body warmth is retained but perspiration is enabled to escape as moisture vapour to prevent it chilling your skin.
