The Petzl Tibloc Ascender is the perfect piece of kit to carry with you on climbing or caving expeditions to ensure you are capable of escaping to safety if you need to.

The ultra-lightweight Tibloc Ascender is constructed from chrome-plated steel cam, and has angled teeth and a self-cleaning slot to securely grip the rope in even the muddiest or iciest of conditions.

It can be used to build a hauling system or as a replacement for a Prusik in situations where you may have to rescue yourself from danger.

For an easier emergency escpae, the Tibloc Ascender can be used with the Petzl Ultralegere Pulley to form a life-saving hauling kit.
