Designed for use with the Petzl Tikka2/Zipka2 series of head torches, the Petzl Core Rechargeable Battery is the ideal accessory. A rechargeable battery unit with a fully customisable output, the Core Rechargeable Battery is ideal for all manner of outdoor activities.

Using Petzl’s software downloadable from the Petzl website, the user can adjust the burn time or maximum output of the ACCU lithium-ion polymer battery. In regulated mode, battery life can be extended with a lower output while for the user with higher light levels as a priority, the Core Rechargeable Battery can give high-power output for stronger lighting (with reduced burn time). Alternatively, the Core Rechargeable Battery can be set to non-regulated for more general use.

Whether you buy a Tikka2 or a Zipka2 with a Core Rechargeable Battery or not, they can still be used with conventional alkaline batteries.
