The Garmin Echo 500c FishFinder is a hugely effective fishfinder unit which scans the waters under and around your vessel using its impressive 500 watts RMS power and extra-sensitive Garmin HD-ID target tracking technology. The Garmin Echo 500c then displays what it sees on its excellent 5-inch sunlight-readable QVGA colour display.

A dual-beam transducer optimizes the unit’s performance for deep or shallow water, providing wide-angle coverage up to 120° to identify fish beyond the sides of your boat and boasting the ability to scan bottom profiles down to 1900 feet, which is easily deep enough for almost all freshwater lakes.

In order to provide an uninterrupted view of the sonar image, the Garmin Echo 500c FishFinder features Garmin Smooth Scaling technology, which means you will not lose sight of the sonar history as the unit changes depth ranges. This technology also gives you the ability to rewind your sonar history in order to let you check that you have not missed any fish source.
