The SteriPEN Sidewinder Crank-Powered UV Water Filter is the ultimate in self-sufficiency in terms of being able to provide yourself with a source of safe drinking water from any clear water source.

This water filter uses the tried and tested SteriPEN ultraviolet system of neutralising waterborne bacteria, viruses and protozoa such as giardia and cryptosporidium.

The SteriPEN Sidewinder Crank-Powered UV Water Filter is supplied complete with a 1-litre Tritan BPA-free bottle and also a SteriPEN Pre-Filter for use if the water is not clear and particulates need to be filtered out as an initial extra stage.

The UV system can treat 1 litre of water in just 90 seconds and the UV element will last for approximately 8000 treatment sessions.
