The Maxpedition Colossus 8 L Versipack Shoulder Pack is the largest of the Versipack range and it lets you take a really big load out on an expedition into the countryside or ferry a lot of possessions from one residence to another, say, and you will have the reassurance of the shock-resistant foam padding incorporated into the pack.

You can still organise the contents very well, however, not least because of the number of substantial individual compartments and the 12 zipped or slip pockets.

The rear compartment can accommodate a hydration reservoir (not included) or two concealed carry weapons (CCW) for a trip to the shooting range, perhaps.

The 2-inch wide shoulder strap can be worn over the left or the right shoulder to suit and it is fitted with a 2-inch shoulder pad that is both non-slip and breathable to allow perspiration to escape.
