Jotron TRON UNIDEC 406 MHz EPIRB Tester 99790
The Jotron TRON UNIDEC 406 MHz EPIRB Tester 99790 is the latest of a long-running series of Cospas-Sarsat EPIRB testers that Jotron have manufactured over the last 25 years.
This tester decodes and tests all types of Cospas-Sarsat beacon signals across a frequency range of 406 to 406.1 MHz.
SOLAS regulations require the annual testing of 406 MHz EPIRBs to measure if the frequency and power of the unit meets standards deemed as satisfactory.
The Jotron TRON UNIDEC 406 MHz EPIRB Tester 99790 has some useful and convenient post-testing features. The report it produces can easily be saved and/or printed and there is also the option to transfer the information from the decoder to a PC or laptop for further processing of the data.
In addition, a certificate can be generated containing the decoded EPIRB data as well as the beacon's transmission measurements.
