The GoPro Skeleton Camera Housing is a multi-purpose casing that features open sides and that is compatible with GoPro HERO3 and HERO3+ wearable and mountable cameras.

The open sides of this camera housing allow you to plug in cables for such actions as taking a video live feed from the camera or charging the camera via a USB lead while recording video footage or stills images.

Because of its open sides, the GoPro Skeleton Camera Housing is of course not waterproof and the camera itself will therefore also not be waterproof so the housing should only be used in dry conditions.

The open sections of the housing have the effect of allowing the camera to record audio more clearly, such as the rush of air flying a hang glider, the swish of snow on a ski run and the crunch of tyres on an off-road bike track etc.
