The Capstan Brass Comfortmeter, Thermometer, Hygrometer is part of the Capstan range of marine instruments that also includes a clock, a tide clock and a barometer.

Like the other instruments in the range, the Capstan Range Marine Brass Comfortmeter, Thermometer, Hygrometer is made from unlacquered solid brass and bevelled glass.

Because it is unlacquered, the bright brass finish will be affected by the atmosphere so it is up to you if you choose to retain the initial shine by periodical polishing or if you prefer to allow the finish to slowly age with time.

The Capstan Range Marine Brass Comfortmeter, Thermometer, Hygrometer features a thermometer in the upper half of the dial showing both Fahrenheit and Centigrade.

The hygrometer in the lower half of the dial shows the humidity of the atmosphere.
