The Arkon Universal Bike and Motorbike Side Grip Handlebar Mount for iPhone and Smartphone is specifically designed to enable a cyclist or motorcyclist to have their iPhone mounted on their handlebar for convenient viewing of an app to show route directions, for instance.

This mount will work with the iPhone and almost all smartphones and can carry them whether they are in or out of decorative or protective cases. Also, it will fit a wide range of vehicles other than bikes and motorbikes.

For added security, this version has padded side grips and can also be fitted with top and bottom grips. In addition, a bungee-style strap is included to wrap around the phone unit.

Installation is simple using two screws which secure the mounting stem to the handlebar and the holding plate is attached via a ball and socket joint. The iPhone holder clips onto this plate.

The ball and socket joint enables the phone’s position to be adjusted, for example for the view to be in landscape or portrait orientation as desired.
