The ML 9 has the highest level of Softie insulation in the Mountain Leader range with a temperature guidance of -10°C to -15°C making it suitable for a wide range of activities even in very cold situations.

The comfort level of this insulated jacket can be optimised by the use of layering items such as a baselayer that wick perspiration away from the skin as the Paratex Light inner and the Paratex Micro outer are highly breathable and will allow the moisture vapour to reach the air and be dissipated into the atmosphere to help keep you drier and more comfortable.

The Snugpak Mountain Leader Unisex Insulated ML 9 Softie Smock provides a good range of storage options for you to carry such items and equipment as maps, documents, compass, phone, GPS unit etc. This storage includes the deep muff-style handwarmer pocket and, for items such as gloves, beanie hat or scarf, there is additional space as the hood of the standard version of this smock has been removed for better layering compatibility but the stowage pouch has been retained.
