The GoPro HERO3 Black* Edition Wearable Action Camera is the third incarnation of the ever more impressive GoPro HERO series of wearable and mountable sports action cameras.

The GoPro HERO3 Black Edition introduced built-in WiFi that enables you to connect your camera to the GoPro app on your smartphone or other compatible device. The app allows you to control the camera, play back your recordings and share your content with family, friends or fellow enthusiasts in your particular sports activity. The Hero3 WiFi lets you link you camera to the WiFi remote control that is included in this kit from as far as 600 feet away.

The GoPro HERO3 Black Edition Wearable Action Camera also boasts a range of features that allow you to capture video in stunning cinema-quality HD, lets you take 12-megapixel photos in a choice of standard, quick-time burst or time-lapse modes.

This top-of-the-range Black Edition can record video sequences in 4kps, 2,7kps, 1440p, 1080p, 960p, 720p and WVGA modes giving that cinema-quality video.

The frame rates are adjustable on the camera from 12 frames per second right up to 240 fps at WVGA for super-slow motion and stills photographs are captured on a 12-megapixel lens for supreme clarity and definition.

The 30-second photo burst mode means you can capture 30 photographs in just 1 second.

*The Black Edition is GoPro top specification, the Silver Edition is mid spec and the White Edition is standard spec; all versions of the camera itself are the same colour.
