CAMP Corsa Ice Axe
Possibly the lightest ice axe in the world, the C.A.M.P. Corsa Ice Axe weighs in at only 205 grams, making it an ultra-lightweight but powerful mountain tool.
Perfect for low-angle glacier travel, ski mountaineering and adventure racing, the Corsa Ice Axe has a pick and adze constructed from forged aluminium, making it durable yet lightweight. Extremely versatile for its weight, the Corsa Ice Axe can be used as an anchor for glacier rescue or for traversing cornices. A nylon shaft plug keeps ice out of the shaft and makes it suitable for use as a walking aid on snow. An optional sliding leash can be attached to the shaft.
The 7075-T6 aluminium alloy head and shaft meet all CE and UIAA requirements for strength and durability. However, the Corsa is not recommended for ice climbing, rugged mixed terrain or for intense step chipping.
