Your comfort is looked after through the Tatonka X Light Vario carrying system that lies very neatly on the back for the best walking balance. Its special back construction with side stabilisers, three-part hip strap with lumbar pad, two comfortable hip wings and concave-shaped back padding ensure that the rucksack sits perfectly and prevents it from slipping out of place. Two x-shaped crossed glass fibre rods efficiently deflect the load to the ergonomically shaped hip strap, thereby transferring it from the shoulders to the hips.

The Tatonka Pyrox Plus 50 L Trekking Backpack is a relatively long backpack which will especially suit longer-backed people obviously but which may not be suit everyone. Tatonka have also introduced the Pyrox 45-litre backpack which is shorter in length at 72 cm and the Amber 50L at 74 cm. The Amber is intended for women but could still suit shorter-backed men.
