Lorpen Tri-Layer Heavy Trekker Crew Socks are tougher, thicker and warmer than your average hiking socks. They will keep your feet comfortable, dry and warm in the most demanding conditions and are designed to resist abrasion and wear, low temperatures and high moisture. They will not let you down.

Heavy Trekker Crew Socks combine the same materials as Lorpen hiking socks with a tougher, heavier construction.

For long treks and heavy climbing these socks ensure your feet stay comfortable, warm and dry. The Tri-Layer knit technology layers both synthetic and natural yarns so that they wick away moisture and provide that all-important comfort and durability, reducing the risk of blisters and foot rot.

Heavy Trekker Crew Socks feature Hydrophobic (non-absorbent) Primaloft Eco Yarn polyester on the inside layer which wicks away sweat from your feet without absorbing it, keeping your feet dry and allowing for the socks to dry quickly.

The middle layer is made from hydrophilic naturally absorbent Merino wool fibre which absorbs your sweat from the inside and sends it to the outside of the sock. Therefore it evaporates quickly over a larger surface area on the outside of the sock.

The outer layer is Nylon, a tough, durable fibre and highly resistant to abrasion located in the high-friction areas of the sock
