The Opinel No.8 Outdoor Knife is an excellent blade for outdoor and nautical activities.

The Outdoor Knife features an 8.5 cm part-serrated blade manufactured from Sandvik 12C27 modified stainless steel.

The blade’s 3.5 cm serrated edge is ideal for cutting nautical or synthetic rope and the Outdoor Knife also incorporates a 4 to 10 mm shackle key.

A pealess whistle has been built into the handle for signalling or for emergency situations and can produce a sound of up to 110 decibels.

The knife’s handle is highly resistant to humidity and extreme temperature and will withstand a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C.

The knife can be locked open or closed thanks to its Virobloc locking system.
